About PETRA

PETRA is the trade association of the North American PET resin manufacturers. The association is dedicated to promoting the growth of PET products and representing North American PET resin producers.  PETRA follows industry issues and educates the public on the benefits and values of PET resin products.

PETRA has initiated a statistical reporting program. What’s more, PETRA has created an Education Product Stewardship Committee charged with preparing white papers, position papers and policy statements on PET Resin issues. Additionally, a Sustainability Committee to address issues surrounding the attributes and sustainability of PET resin products.

Committees:

Education Product Stewardship Committee

• Objective is to provide comprehensive documents on PET resin issues to better educate the public, consumers and the media.

 

Sustainability Committee

• Objective is to raise public awareness of the sustainability attributes of PET resin products.
