New York, NY (October 3, 2005)– Six major PET resin manufacturers have announced the launch of the PET Resin Association (PETRA), a trade association formed to promote the growth of PET products and represent all North American PET resin producers

“PETRA provides the premiere forum through which commercial PET resin producers can focus on issues specific to their industry,” said Ralph Vasami, Esq., who has been named Executive Director of the association. “It is a platform for disseminating information and educating the public about PET products and their value.”
